We had a great day fishing with our crew from San Antonio. We started out with speckled trout and caught a few but the bite was a little slow. We tried redfish and the bite was on. We missed a few but ended up with everyone catching good Redfish and having a great day.

The fishing for Speckled Trout continues to be great. Lots of trout with some really nice fish. We started today wading the outside of Traylor Island near Rockport. The trout were very aggressive and the main bait was Gulp 3″shrimp in white. The second best bait was a Norton Mini Sand Eel in Pumpkin and Pearl with a chartreuse tail. Both were fished on a 1/8 oz. lead head. A fluorocarbon leader is a must in clear water. Redfish are very shallow and topwater baits is hit and miss but cut mullet and menhaden will really produce. We fished the bays near Rockport, Texas today. We have had great fishing all week. Redfish are the target species and they are cooperating. Everyone caught fish. Call and book a day of fishing on the bays.

We fisherd the bays near Rockport, Texas for redfish today. The fish are plentiful and everyone caught fish. We had a few trout mixed in but the redfish finished filling the ice chest. Come to Rockport and spend a day on the bay. Children are always welcome.

Fishing near Rockport, Texas was great today. The redfish were aggressive and plentiful. The group had a great time catching these bruisers. They were biting on almost any bait we used with fresh menhaden being the best.

Fishing was good today. We waded mud bottom along oyster reefs and found redfish and speckled trout under schools of mullet. 5″ Gulp jerk shad were the ticket on 1/16 ounce lead heads. Redfish were very shallow over shell and the trout were on the edge over mud bottom. Book a day of fishing and enjoy a day on the bays near Rockport.

We were back on redfish and trout today and waded in mixed mud and shell along a shell reef. Gulp 3″ shrimp in New Penny color was the trick.

We fished for speckled trout in San Antonio Bay. The wind came about 9:00 AM and the trout turned on. They were on the deep side of shell reefs in 4 to 5 feet of water. The trout were hot on Gulp jerk shad for about 3 hours.
