We made our annual trip to Alaska for the Silver Salmon run. We travel to Cordova, Alaska and fish several rivers in the Copper River drainage. It has become a tradition. This year a couple of friends went along. The fishing is all done in small rivers and with fly rods. It can be challenging but it is a great experience. The wildlife is great. (Bears (Brown & Black), Moose, and lots of birds). We fish several different streams or rivers during our stay. We base out of the “Orca Adventure Lodge” in Cordova and have for many years. They offer boat trips to remote rivers and streams as well as fly outs. Local streams and rivers are also great.
