We had a great day in San Antonio Bay. We left goose island at sunrise and arrived at our first spot in about 20 minutes. The fish were on and by 11:00 AM we had 21 speckled trout and the kids had a great time. Lots of bites but lots of misses. The fish were aggressive and took the bait with a hard strike. Everyone had fun and we had a nice fish dinner.

We fished the Upper Laguna Madre today for speckled trout with live croakers. Everyone caught fish and the family had a great day. We were even able to do a little beach-combing along the intracoastal waterway. Plus great speckled trout fillets for a fresh fish dinner.

We had a great day on the bay near Rockport, Texas. Fishing was good with a catch of redfish, speckled trout, and a shark, as well as gaff top, ladyfish, and hardheads. About mid morning the trout turned on and it was a fish almost every cast but the Dolphin liked them better than we did and they took their share. it was fun to see the dolphin come right up to the boat and take the speckled trout from the hook. No matter how fast we reeled, we could not keep the trout away from the dolphin. They showed no fear. Finally we left the fish biting and moved to a shallow bay to catch a few redfish. After a couple of misses we put some nice redfish in the ice chest. What a fun day.
