The fishing is great in the Rockport / Port Aransas area. Spring has arrived and the big Speckled Trout have arrived. We are catching limits and near limits of big sow trout on bait, plastics, and top waters. The activity continues to improve from Port Aransas to Mesguite Bay and San Antonio Bay. In spite of Cedar Bayou still being closed, (Save Cedar Bayou , call your Congressman and Senator!) Ask them to contact the US Army Corps of Engineers and approve the dredging of Cedar Bayou.
