The redfishing is heating up. With the cooling weather and the redfish migration to the Gulf of Mexico, fishing is great. Expect a mixed bag of redfish, black drum, flounder, speckled trout, and sheepshead. All are good cooked any way, fried, baked, broiled, or grilled. Come to Rockport and fish this fall.

We fished south of Corpus Christi, launching at Bluffs Landing. What a nice launch. We fished in Baffin Bay and caught a mixed bag of redfish, black drum, and speckled trout. Everyone had a great day and caught fish. They will be having fresh fish for dinner

The redfish are biting. They are beginning their annual migration to the Gulf of Mexico. The best bait is live shrimp or plastics that look like shrimp. We are looking forward to a great fall for redfish. AS a bonus we are catching speckled trout, flounder and black drum. Many days we have a great mixed bag. Come down and fish the fall redfish run in the Rockport area.
